Garaged ML 320 for a few months, now won't start. HELP ME!!!

Garaged ML 320 for a few months, now won't start. HELP ME!!!
After dropping it(00 ML 320) off at the stealership for an oil change towards the end of 04, I had them read a check engine light($200) which ended up being the driver side O2 sensor in front of the cat. They also noticed the front pads were getting low and said that I should replace them soon. Total bill came out to be $1,6xx IF I wanted them to do it all 
. I told them to change the oil and give me back the car to deal with myself.
They reset the light and returned the car with an oil change for abour $300. My mechanical skills are fairly advanced and I know how to do most things including oil changed, but my mom wanted to keep it documented which is why we had them do it. I am planning to order a Bosch O2 sensor, but am not sure what brand of pads to order.
Being that it was tucked away for so long(7-8 months), we forgot to start it every week or so and I assumed the battery died. I tried to jumpstart it for about 15min and the power would turn on with all electricals working in the start position. When I tried to crank it over, all electricals dimmed and nothing happens but a click. I've added fuel stabalizer to it and am planning on changing the battery.
Questions:
1. Is it my fuel pump that could have died from sitting there for so long?
2. Could it know the fuel is no good and adding fresh fuel fix it?
3. If it is the fuel pump, does anyone have a write up or how to for it with the upgraded pump, lines and filter?
4. What brand brake pads do you guys use and where did you order them from?

unlikely

unlikely - fuel does degrade over time and can thicken/harden
within small passages. simply adding fresh fuel will not resolve
clogged passages.

depending on the charge level in the battery, you should try to
perform measure of specific gravity of electrolyte. also, perform
trickle charge. the on-board charging system in cars is not designed
to bring back to life a battery which was allowed to deep discharge.
you described a 15 min jumpstart attempt which failed, a further in-
dication that the battery needs something more than a superficial
charge. check the fluid, check the level, trickle charge.
work on this in systematic fashion. you need a fully charged battery
for starters. resolve that, then work you way to next system eg fuel...etc
