MY 2002 ML320
Low Range

I have 2002 ML320, yesterday about late evening when I started the truck the Low Range light flashed for few seconds. I’m calling the dealer today, any body knew what is wrong with the truck. Is it something simple, like a sensor or it could be more major problem?

Thanks for your help

Put the truck in LOW RANGE and drive around the block.... Then take it out of LOW RANGE.... restart the truck and see if the lights still flash on start up.

Or you dont even have to drive it. in your garage put it in neutral put it in low range confirm you in lowrange by putting it in drive. then back in neutral and take it out of low range. restart the vehicle and check. It should take car of it

Had to resurrect this thread as the majic has done it again for my Flashing low range indicator. Thanks again. I was so tempted to get rid of it this weekend for a Tundra double cab when my Low Range flashes again for the forth time. This is a once a year issue and I'm just fallen out of warranty couple month ago. I guess I'll keep it for now until some other issue surfaced or resurfaced.
