What to replace your 163 with? A Mazda5? It's closer than you think

Mazda5. I know it sounds crazy, but if you bought the ML because of it's Tardis like size (small outside, big inside) you know the 164 doesn't do it. The Mazda5 is not an SUV but it is the same length (181") almost the same wheelbase and has an even tighter turning radius. Sure it is FWD but in 5 years of driving in Texas I don't think I have ever needed 4WD (I'm sure you northerners have a very different viewpoint). I expect the 4 cylinder engine will be able to pull the 3300 lbs as fast as my 2000 ML320, especially with a 5 speed manual. Just something to think about. If your ML doesn't have too many miles you might get money back.

Uh, are you sure you belong here? Maybe you just weren't properly inspired since you got the V6. There's no way I'd do anything like that with my 430. What's next, do I sell my house and live in a mobile home? Maybe I should trade in my Les Paul on a plastic ukelele? I think you've lost it, man.

Try that silly 170hp 4banger against my 342hp 8banger =P

Mazda < Mercedes

I would never make that kind of a trade, I would have to be insane. Even if I had a Ml 320/350.
