Sold ML...Accessories for Sale
Hey,
My parents just traded in their 1998 ML320 for a 2003 Jaguar S-Type. I'll miss the ML...but my mom has always wanted a Jag.
If anyone is interested, we are selling two accessories.
We had our Side Step Bars taken off...they have been on our ML since new. They're black...and look fine...we've babied our ML...only had 34K when we sold it.
We also have a brand new set of gray Luxury Floor Mats...our dealer lost one of our floormats during its last service, so they gave us a new set.
If anyone is interested, please contact me. We're picking up the Jag this Saturday...hopefully it'll serve us as well as our ML. I'm sad to see it go. Thanks!

This is an incredible insult that Todd would post this and not even care to reply to our responses. Maybe his parents took him out on vacation - then look for a %$#@*) public library man to respond to our requests, even if the $%#@ stuff is sold. You posted, I believe, 'cause you were looking for buyers. So take the $%#@ time to give us your response. Anyway, forget it, I have the stuff I want on order from my MB dealer.

Wow...
It's a slow day...so I went to check my post. Man, I didn't know you guys could be such d-cks.
Um, I was up at school from Wednesday night until Saturday. And I just started working in NYC for an investment bank. I'm 21, I work, and I have better things to do than try to sell these things...I don't live online...
So sorry if I didn't reply quickly enough for you...didn't know you wanted the things so urgently. An insult? Please. Calling me unresponsible...that's insulting.
So what's a fair price to you? Maybe that would have been a better thing to include in your post...
I've been reading these posts for quite some time...and you've just really turned me off...

I believe the step bars go for about $340 from MB. I am not dying for a set but if I could get them at a reasonable price and somehow get them up to the boston area for a reasonable shipping amount I may go for it.
Being that the bars are 4 years old and not being able to see them, I would offer $100 to $150 to take them off your hands (Depending on shipping costs).
Where are they located?

GSMITH,
Considering that brand new Manik side steps (black) can be had for $174... your offer seems pretty generous![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I know these may be stock.. but still...

GSMITH: They're located in New City, New York...suburb about 19 miles north of NYC.
Darkmann: I understand your point...I neglected my post. But I blamed no one but me...no one forced me to go nuts on my birthday...just too much fun with my friends. I just didn't expect such a responce to my inactivity from the board...they're just side steps. My reply may have been inappropriate, and I should not have judged you guys from your posts, just don't judge me from this (i.e. the responsibility issue). I'll try not to let it happen again.
Radomir: Manik bars are that cheap?
Now enough of this...back to MLs...

I have no idea what the side steps are made of. The 1998 ML Accessories catalogue doesn't mention what the side steps are made of. The brochure only says they have a durable black finish. The side steps off our 1998 ML320 look fine...only the iron bolts used to mount them to the frame rails have signs of rust.

The steps are in southeast New York...next to Westchester Country

Factory side steps are powder coated stainless steel. They retail for just over $600. Just go to mbusa.com and cyber-build a 320. One of the steps is to accessorize your truck. The steps are listed there.
Put them on Ebay, they will be sold in 7 days - period.
