cabin filter install

Anyone else ever have difficulties with this? I am about to go MAD!!! I figured it was an easy drop and put the clip back in install? Am I missing something here? The original filter wont go back in either

Any help or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!!!

Changing the filter the first time might take some time to find where the clips are located and how to remove them without breaking them. But after the first time it's fairly easy, just about 5 to 10 min or so....

The Filter is Directional.

Are you sure you installed the filter the correct way. There are two tabs, one on top and one on the bottom, and are offset so the filter will only seat in in one direction. The Filter medium should face the passenger door and the backing screen should face the drivers door.

yeah it was going in wrong... I had it going in with the longer portion going up and down(tabs would be left and right) and it was off by a smidgen... I didnt see the filter come out so I didnt see what direction it was... I thought something was blocking it... I rotated it and found it fir pretty easily

ML350 cabin filter is located under the glove compartment... drop the under dash and you should see a tab there... un clip it and it drops down

You should, remove two screws from under the glove box on passenger side, them remove long (front to back) cover with a locking tab on one side and filter will drop right out.

Can't hardly miss it after removing two very simple screws! Try it.
