leak under pass & driver dash?

leak under pass & driver dash?
Hi,
it has been very hot here... so whenusing my Air conditioner i have noticed a leak just above the driver and passenger feet.
it is more water than i would like and then when i put my hand just under the dash i feel it is very wet.
BTW this is a 2000 ml430 with only 11k miles on it
so i called it in today.
also going to get repaired, the sunroof and the brakes (high performance to stop brake dust) and the step (which is rusting and coming apart so quick)
i want them all fixed and i do not want them to wash my car and i want a good car from the dealers. all mentioned to dealer.
has anyone see of heard any of these problems?

The "leak" is condensation from the A/C. yep, this can happen and I've had it happen to my Nissan. I don't know if there's a "fix" or not. the rusty bar is surprising - you do have 4yr/50K warranty, so that should take care of that. Is it a black bar?

Believe that the water is A/C condensation. I have never experienced this with my ML500 or the 98 ML320 I had. Perhaps some insulation is missing or your drain line is clogged. Re the rust on the step bars this is most likely due to the salt used on the roads in your area. I personally would not have step bars as they tend to hit you in the ankle when climbing in and you slip off of them when they are wet and icey. The ML step in height is such that they are not necessary.

Hi, Darkmann, I have a girl who is almost 4, she has no problem with our M class without steps, she just sort of climbs into the space between front and back seats.
Although, I imagine if she were bigger it may be harder !
When its wet and horrible she gets mucky though - but if its wet and horrible she gets mucky in anycase - car or no car :-)
