Hi.. i'm new here and I just purchased my first used benz, the ML55 AMG. I'm loving every minute of it btw.

Anyway, can someone or does anyone have a step by step procedure on how to do oil changes on these bad boys? I do oil changes on all my japanese cars and all of them are similar regardless of what route you take when doing oil changes. If anyone can provide me an online procedure with pictures for the ML55, that would be great! I just want to see what's involve when performing this service.

There was no owner's manual that came with the benz but I already ordered one online and it should be here in the next few days. For the meantime, I'd like to learn more on a few DIY service on the ML.

Hi, I own a 2005 ML500 Special Edition. I would like to start changing the oil myself. Do you know how to reset the service mileage? If you have any valuable hints, could you please include me. Thanks.

Hi SKhou... check this link out on the "how to" on doing the oil change and it was provided to me on the ML55 forum. It's not the ML but the engine configuration is similar.

And as far as resetting the service mileage, it should be on your owners manual, I think under maintenance tab. But yah, there's a step by step procedure in there.
