What's that 13 Pin Connector on the transmission?
Apparently my AT pan needed a new gasket and a 13 Pin Connector replaced cause of some minor leak......

13 pin connector pilot bushing is a common cause of ATF leaks not to mention the oil pan gasket which have replaced a lot too for 722.6 tranny's. its the link between the electrohydraulic control unit to the electronic transmission control unit which is located at the left footwell.

the job is so easy. 30 minutes is all it takes.
- remove connector and the pilot bushings next
- drain ATF at the pan
- remove oil pan and filter
- lastly, electric control unit(about 10-20 bolts) attached to the hydraulic unit.

I had the same problem. The actual bushing is a $10 part. With all this going on I had my shop change the AT cooler lines, AT filter and fluid as well.
Very happy with the work. I was also releaved of $500 bucks.
This appears to be a common problem with our trucks.
