Hi All, When I pull away, sharply from an island or junciton. MY ML270 CDI Auto makes a noise, sounds like something to do with the axles or soemthing. The noise goes away I think after you stop the engine and start again. Anyone else had this or knows what it is? could be part of the 4wd system or soemthing. Just wondering. Thanks.

Youre not alone here the ones I have driven from year 2000 to 2003 all have the grumbling transmission whine ! This is only evident when you floor it from standstill going through gears 1 & 2 . [It is a heavy machine remember]
