Nice wheels!
One question I'd like to ask...How SignificanT does it feel from 17" to 20"(?) w/ regards to riding/comfortability? The reason for my asking that question is b/c I've been thinking about it -- but don't want to sacrifice too much of the comfortability...Or, even the rapid wear of the shock system.
Thank-you!
Kind regards,
Reynaldo

Hey Reynaldo...
Well after I dropped my truck on my stock 17's, the ride was horrible, but surprisingly with the new wheels and tires, the ride has been alot more comfortable, even my cousin who drove my truck said "your ml drives a whole lot better" I've noticed it too. However, nothing will beat 17's comfort for obvious reasons, since im running a lowprofile 35 series tires. 20's shouldnt be too bad, aslong as you have enough rubber, you should be okay.

I had the roof racks detached...and brought the pieces for chroming...and the other black plastic pieces to paint-to-match the body colour. I did this--b/c being single--I rarely use the racks....when I go skiing and/or camping--w/ everything is at the back(seats fold down).....And--SHOO--I go!!Originally Posted by bcaese
Where did you get the chrome Polished Roof Rack (DIY)????
There are many places you can bring your metals in for chroming...if you want to.
Cheers!

Start w/ Yellow Pages....look for chroming company...in Toronto--there should be a long listing.

MBWorld Fanatic!
how to remove the orange reflectors from the headlights? I wanna take mine out!!
Out Of Control!!
you need to heat the headlamp in the oven. Seperate the lens from the housing, then you brake the orange reflector and anything you cant get off paint with a chrome paint...

serious, you could also use a heat gun im sure but you heat the head lamp in order for the silicone to melt... when reassembling it, you resilicone it

Super Member
what a big difference Vik!! looks even better when you see it LIVE!

ViKTORiOUS, your ML looks awesome....have you considered investing in fender flares?
They will certainly beef up the look of your ML..

by chance you sellin your brushbar now that you have the wald kit?
Sure am, the front brush guard took a slight hit in a fender bender while back, my body shop just straightened out the bracket, I need to take a look at it before I sell it to someone, don't want it being all f*cked up if I ship it out. I'm also selling my side steps.
PM me offers... these won't be available until next month though.
I have looked into getting fender flares, however very hard to find and if i do fender flares, i want to mold them into the fenders, give it the widebody look. my wald kit does come with fender flares, but the rear flares are soooo fugly, i'm seeing if my bodyshop can cut excess i dont want, and make them look like the oem flares.
thanks for the kind words fellas!
