Look closely at the ones saying "04_05". They are version 2004.1. This is for version 2005.1

Last day of bidding. This is the latest version for sale on Ebay. All of the others are older versions.

2006.1 is out. I bought it and sold my 2005.1 to recoup some of the cost of the new one. Had I known there is virtually no difference; e.g., the same streets I needed on my '05 version are still not there on my '06 version I wouldn't have gone to the time or expense to get the new one. My recommendation is if you have the '05 don't get the '06. Maybe wait until the '08 version since they say they update 20% each version. The 20% I needed wasn't included!

2000 ML320 2006 SLK 350
I have been updating every 2 years since I purchased my 2000 ML320 new...

The dealer gave me the 2001 update for free, and since then, I purchased a 2003 and then a 2005. My next purchase will be 2007.

I have been quite satisfied with this approach...between 2 years, the additions of streets and POAs are plenty and obvious.

Only one thing I have been grumbling about from day 1 of owning the ML, is why can't I type in street names using the Alphanumeric key pad?

Why is the key pad only good for street numbers, not for alphabets? Are they ever going to provide this feature?

They should have added this feature by now, with so many revisions and model years out.

I liked the "Exit No." feature in the 2005 CD very much. The 2005 version tells you what exit no. to exit on the freeway...

mihir. You must have upgraded your NAV sometime. I didn't think the 2000 came equipped with the newer ('03-'05) DVD NAV system. Thought that system used the multiple CDs. Need to add that to your list of "mods".

Sure, its the CD Nav, not the DVD...

I never thought of upgrading since, I never travel cross country, the CD one has the states of CA and NV on it, and that's pretty much where I drive all of the time...

Are you telling me that the DVD ones have the alpha-keypad feature?

I still think, they should add that feature to the CD upgrades too...it should be really simple to do in software and shouldn't take up that much disk space either...

No, my new version does not have that feature. I'm with you - it would be nice. I retired a couple of years ago and travel frequently. Heck, I get lost 2 miles from the house! I used to rely on AAA and MapQuest. The NAV is awesome!
