Bose Audio - code won't work.
Okay guys.... let's bang some heads together and see if we can resolve this.
1) Changed battery.
2) Stereo died.
3) Removed radio.
4) Replaced fuse.
5) Turned on stereo.
6) Input code.
7) No luck!!
Based on my VIN number the dealership confirmed my code was 43234. Since this wasn't working I removed the stereo again and checked the serial number on it. It wasn't what I had.
Unit had a sticker on it that said CERTIFIED FACTORY REFURBISHED so it was obviously replaced at one point or the other. I called the dealership back with this serial # and the code they gave me was 11146. This didn't work either. 
I called them again and they said that if the code wasn't working, it was because I was giving them the wrong serial # and if I wasn't, then they couldn't help me any further!!
Any suggestions? As clear as can be, the stereo shows the serial number as 98A110423. I was a bit concerned too as this number was shorter than the original serial number (9 characters instead of 14 as was shown in the manual) but then I can't make up numbers on my own. It is what it is.
