I have a ML 320 2001 and my driver side window is stuck. Is almost all the way up, but it doesnt go up or down. When you press the up or down switch you hear the motor working but nothing happens.

Do you think this is the window switch or is it the motor or the window regulator???

Can anyone help?? Can I do it myself???

 

Most likely the switch module, a common problem. Remember that all the window switches are in one module and that must be replaced. The switches were changed and improved in 02 and later.

 

Its your switch on the console that is bad. You would need to replace the whole switch because its a cluster or a whole unit. The dealership sells them for about $150 or you can try ebay. Its very easy to fix.

 

its an easy fix if the problem is the window switch. I just fixed it a couple days ago for my 02 ML and everything works great. GOOD LUCK!

 

Did you ever fix this problem; if so, how? Was it a Window regulator problem?
