2000 ML320
Tape Head maybe ?

When i play a tape on my MSC i only hear sound from the right side.
any one had a similar problem ?
is it the head ? should it be calibrated ? or changed ?

Keep it simple, start with the small stuff. Dragging a piece of tape across a tape head deposits dust and metal oxides on the head. It also lightly magnetizes it. Go to Radio Shack or a similar electronics store. Get some tape cleaning swabs and cleaning solution and get in there and clean the head. You can also buy a head demagnetizer cassette. This will help your sound a lot, but if it doen't fix your problem you may have a loose head or a broken lead to the head itself, both of which would require removal and disassembly of the player to repair.

Thanks paul for the info ... i ll let u know what will hapen.

yes i tried a new tape, i am sure the problem is from deck player not the tape nor radio adjustments
