Does anyone know, is it possible to change climate control knobs in pre2002 ML for new "clicking" knobs, which are installed in 2002 cars. If yes, what are the parts ##.

I don't think you can
I don't believe this is possible as the '02 system is not just knobs but it is a whole climate control system, which the pre '02's did not have. Example: the auto function, etc.
So I doubt you can do that. Sorry.

The 02 system is entirely different than yhe prior ones. The clicking is in the switches, not the knobs and I do not believe its possible to change to 02 switches.
