I am having a problem with the abs, ets, eps lights on the dash board. I was told to turn the steering wheel to the left and hold it for 30 seconds then to the right for 30 seconds; then turn off the car for a couple of minutes. this worked for about 1 day. Does anyone have any resolutions to this problem???

Thanks,
Alvarado

The light tends to go on and off for a while. You can search around for ESP BAS light around the forum and see there are many solutions. Mine wound up solved at the dealer. Car was still under warranty.

There are two other options besides the steering position sensor. Based on my experience with these lights, there's a certain grouping that'll disble the shifter - grouping being any two or three of the ABS, ESP, ETS, BAS lights. In my case that was related to a bunch of control computers.

The second grouping, the shifter is not disbles. This case has always bein diagnosed to a faulty brake pedal sensor which is a easy DIY.

It sounds like your case is related to the brake sensor. There is a publication on this DIY. Do a search.
