Is there a way to put the fogs and the highbeams on at the same time. or even when the signals are just on. I mean you know when u turn ur light on but only up one click and ur turn signals light up. anyway to do that with the ML but have those lights and the fogs on or the highs and the fogs?

There is a way to get the fogs on with just the parking lights. I had my fog lights installed by an independent truck shop. All I do is click the stalk once to the parking light setting and then hit the fog light button. I'll go take a pic.

Damn it - is it too much to ask that all MLs can do this? Hell on most Audis, the DLRs are the foglights themselves! I've owned a 1997 A4 1.8T Quattro and a 1999 A6 2.8 Quattro, and they both had the fogs on by default as the DLRs even with parking lights!
And my last car (2002 BMW X5 4.4i) also could have the fogs on and the signals.
Why can't the ML do this?!?!?!
And when the heck do you use the inner halogen high beams? So far I've only seen those on if you flash your high beams whent he engine's off.
On the X5, the outer lights were xenons, and those were only on as night headlights. The DLRs were the two inner halogens. If you turned on your high beams, then the xenons stayed on, while the inner halogens turned on max as well. Made for some nice fog driving like a rally car!

I think you misunderstood me. I had the dealership activate the green light in the dash after I had the truck shop install the fog lights. I want the green light to come on. I don't mind it. It helps me know when my fogs are on! It also makes me feel like they are stock

I definitely see your point. I guess it never really bothered me that much. A light lower down would be better .....somewhere on or near the switch like you said. Although I think the amber light is on in the switch when the rear fog light is activated.
