Hi Guys,
First can I say I am immpressed by your Forum. (grovel)
I am over in the Uk and have just bought my wife a 99 ML320.
It was previously owned by the local MB Dealers wife so has wanted for nothing.
We bought it as we have just got a new addition to the family-a White German Shepherd Pup.
Can I start asking questions already please!!
Can I replace the factory Bose stereo for a double din DVD player/monitor?
Its the speaker wiring that I am not sure about.
Does the Head unit go to an external amp (is it just a pre amp output) or can I just connect the speakers cables directly to the wiring, maybe with a suitable adapter.
I did a general search (nothing came up for the 163) and it seems some MB owners have had to rewire directly to the speakers and by-pass the amp.
