Tinting/Smoking out lights

Im looking for something fun and eaasy to do. I have an extra paid of headlights from an ML and i wanna try to tint them but very lightly. What is the best way to go about smoking out the lights, which paint to use, and what else do I need to do to prep the lights.

Also How do i remove my side turning signals. I wanna smoke those out also. Thanks alot

careful with smoking headlights, especially in NY, Ive heard some real horror stories about getting pulled over by the po po. Do the tails, and side markers, should have no problem with those
