New thread on an old topic!

My Mrs. just bought an 01 ML 320 and the car does not have the NAV installed although it does have the screen with the NAV button. I have retrofitted the COMAND into my CLK in the past, but wanted to see what was required to get her NAV up and running. I know that she needs the DVD drive and probably a GPS antenna. Is the car prewired for the DVD drive? Are there any other things I need to get the car's NAV working? Thanks in advance guys!

01 you can save money and get the CD drive and you do need the antenna. And I am 99% sure that you should have all the wires pre wired.

I suggest you do some searching on this forum - this topic has been discussed ad nauseum.

I do not believe you'll need an antenna, as Teleaid is included in the ML, which means it does have the GPS antenna. You may need a splitter.
