Have you tried the Bosch Icon? They don't have the massive snow shield, but the entire blade is rubber. At high speeds they stick to the windshield like glue. But hey, at 80mph you don't need windshield wipers.

Bosch Icon blades come standard on the W164, so how can you go wrong?
BTW, it's not a snow shield - it's a spoiler, to aerodynamically push your wiper blade against your windscreen when travelling at highway speeds. The Icon has an aerodynamic profile integrated into the design, so it doesn't need an add-on spoiler.
