Best way to route power wire in ML chassis?

01 S2000, E46 M3, 99 ML320

I did a search on this and found nothing related to this topic so.....
Just going to install a basic stereo with amp in my SUV and wanted to know where you guys route the big 4 gauge power cable. The battery is on the passenger side right next to the firewall but I don't see any grommets around there. I hate to drill "blind" so can you fellas give me some pointers?
