Aftermarket Muffler for the ML

Thanks pete and everyone else for the input. I bought a lot of piping today to just cut out the resonator and run a pipe.
I was told by Mercedes the piping is 2 1/4 so I bought that for it. The pipe which is taking place of the resonator is 2.5 Now is that a good idea or not?
and for now im just going to get rid of the resonator. Then see how I like it and then I will move from there.
I also need some new tips.

Not to hijack this thread but I was wondering how big is the stock exhaust/muffler on the ML? I only ask because I have a Brand NEW universal Remus exhaust and it doesn't fit my body/chassis so I was thinking maybe it could work on a bigger vehicle such as the ML or what not. If your interested or any other members are please feel free to PM me I wish it would work on my car cause I know it sounds badass!

So it wouldn't work for a 320 or 430 ML either I suppose? I know the 55 comes with dual exhaust and the rest comes with a single exhaust.
