New ML 350 Owner...Couple Questions

Hello everyone, I just purchased a 03 ML350, this is my first MB and am looking forward to the experience.

My first question is regarding the radio, It has buttons for the NAV and phone but when pressed it says no nav installed (Same with the phone but Im not really interested in that). I would really like to add the NAV system. I think the antenna is already there on the back of the car near the liftgate.

do I need to buy a module or something like that? or is it simply a feature that needs to be added by the dealer

any input would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to mbworld, I hope you like it here!

I can't halp you with the navigation system, but I might be able to direct you to someone if you need to purchase one -- the Comand system can be bought from our sponsor MBenzNL.

I hope you think about joining our Folding@Home team! It's easy to do and it's for a great cause -- fighting cancer and driving Mercedes -- ah the life

You need to buy a navigation drive and the navigation discs. Make sure to get a newer drive to accept the DVD discs as those are updated and require less discs for more of the region.

I know I'm missing something but I can't remember. Do a search for more information and welcome!
