So my SRS light keeps flashing on and off on my 2000 ML320, Is it something that i need to get looked at and how much do you think it will cost?

Thats telling you that your air bags have a fault and most likely will not operate in a collision. Have it taken care of ASAP regardless of the cost. Actual cost will depend upon what is actually wrong with the system. There is no way to estimate without a diagnosis.
