Rear Shocks
My rear shocks are squeeking like crazy
Every time I go over any type of a slow bump and its driving me nuts. Are there any better shocks to install other than the original mercedes part ? 2001 ML320 ( europe version )

you need to have access to a lift or jack to do bushings... they are are a pretty sucky thing to deal with...

Squeaking may not be due to shocks - can they even squeak?? The torsion bars usually make a cracking noise when you go over bumps. I'd get under the rear bumper and lube those poly bushings (they're white bushings near the insides of each rear wheel and they sandwitch the stabilizer bar, two ontop and two below). That should help, though it's a temporary solution.

Thanks for all the help, Im getting both shocks and the torsionbar bushings replaced. My buddy who´s a mechanic insures me that is the problem and will do the trick , keeping my fingers crossed . So thanks again
