high pressure pump for braking system?

My car is at the dealer with the 3 light ABS ETS BAS.. well the 3 light on the left side is on.

Dealer said I need a new high pressure pump for the braking system and the cost of $1600 + labor. My warranty contract will only cover for remanufactured parts or a flat $800.

Is there a remanufactured parts for this high pressure pump? I cant seem to find it anyway on the net after 1 hour search. If there is one how much is the cost on a reman -ed unit?

Thanks.

Thanks for the part no. so it is the anti lock brake pressure regulator. AKA Anti-lock brakes - Modulator valve. That explains why I'm loosing braking power at hard braking.

Interestingly my Warranty contract company is willing to buy the part and ship it to my dealer to install. But my dealer's "Policy" only to install a new MB part. Oh well, I will have to find an Indy to fix the problem.

At lease I'm getting a second issue covered. Broken engine mount with 4.5 hour labor covered. I just have to pay the coverage difference at $25 an hour.
