2002 ml320 radio wiring - originally w/o nav - installing avic-Z2

Hi Everyone,
I usually read up on everything here but don't post much. Anyway, I tried searching for something to help me out and I found what I think is useful on Wolfgang's website but not entirely sure.

Anyway, I have a 2002 ml320 that came without navigation. I bought a Pioneer Avic-Z2 from Crutchfield, which came with a wiring harness and diagram. The diagram seems to be a little off. I previously installed a avic-d3 on a 98 ml320 and didn't really run into any problems.

Anyway, I have wired everything up but the mercedes harness does not have the power outputs on the same harness as the speaker wires and the other harness only has six wires instead of 8 (+ and - for four speakers). Does anyone know exactly which wires are the correct ones for the FR, FL, RR, RL, + and - speaker wires?

I could just take the time to trace them down but that would require me taking the door off.

Also, is it a good idea to cut the amplifier out of the system? The 98 I installed on had a constant white noise in the background, probably due to the Bose amplifier.

I appreciate all of your help!

ML stereo upgrade

I also have an ML w/o nav. Is the stereo harness a dual Din?
Has anyone put in a sub for more low end. If so how/where did you mount it.
I still want to keep the rea area clear for the dog.

Did you cut the amp out? Have a 2000 ML430 and I think I may have the same white noise issue. Not as bad with the IPOD as the source, but the radio it is very noticable.
