Question NJ Dealers

Hello everyone,

I will be ordering 2002 ML320 soon (my first MB!). Can anyone
recommend dealers in NJ area? (good price & service)

MB of Morristown and Globe Motor are close to me. Any comments on
these two? Also, friend of mine have recommended Millennium.

Thank you!!

Hey CoCo:

I work with Christopher Hauck (pronounced 'how-k') at MB of Morristown. Just tell him that Drew from Florida sent you, and he'll do his best to get you a the best deal around without all the BS you get from other Salesman.

Dealership #: 973-267-5000

Good luck ... and Welcome to the Forum BTW!!!

Regards,

2000 ML 320
There are several dealers in NJ but the best dealer I'd recommend is the Manhattan Mercedes dealer. I bought my 2000 ML320 from there and learnt that since I live in Jersey, I can pay new jersey taxes. I also got a pretty decent deal. ML320 with M1 and M2 packages for $36800. Can't beat that.

Ask for Joseph Cecere. 212-629-1483

Hi,

I got mine from Globe. If you are close, talk to Anthony there. He gave me an aggressive offer right on the phone 4% off MSRP. I eventually went with an even better deal on a showroom model, but that was a straight-forward deal, no problems, and if you have a trade-in they gave me the best price on a trade-in from the 3 dealers I talked to.

I didn't bother with MB Morristown since it's too far (I'm in Jersey City).
Ray Catena wouldn't budge, trade-in value was waaay too low, they are too far, and many people complained here.
Prestige: guy was rude and convoluted on phone so I ignored them.
Benzel-Busch: guy was very good on phone, no bs, but wouldn't do better than $1500 off MSRP. Also, trade-in wasn't very good.

So far, Anthony at Globe pulled a rabbit out of the hat and I walked out with a great deal.
vele.

just to follow up. In case there are problems, if you take the ML to the dealer where you bought it, you get a free loaner. If you take it elsewhere you don't, so pays to get a good deal on a dealer that is close by. This is standard practice.
