Anyone LOSE their HEATER on their ML's?
Mine is a 1999 ML320 and it's got over 120k miles on it....love the car for it's reliability but recently the car's heater seems to not work.
Plus I hear a flapping noise when the wind blower is turned up past the 1st click.
Is this an easy fix?

You may need to clean you cabin filter. The flapping noise is probaby from debris caught in it. As for he heater not blowing hot air idk.
Check the boards for how to clean/replace the cabin filter yourself. Should be easy. I think cabin filters are like $30.

Looks like I need to make a trip to the local dealer soon...hahaha - it's freezing here in the mornings and with no heat! I have to crank my heat seaters up....

no seriously sometimes the problem is the computer of the car that handles the temperature. Try turning off the AC by putting on the Economy mode, or perhaps try the recirculate feature

Np. Just realize the replace cabin filter is a $130 job at the dealer and is not a warranty item.
