Hesitation 1999 Ml430 ***help***
Hello:
MLGOD or anybody...Just replaced plugs and wires a week ago. 120,000 miles. ML ran fine for a week or so no CEL. This morning step on gas when cold and it boggs or hesitates. Changed MAF sensor about 3 months ago. It was an ebay special.
What else could be wrong? Do you think it's the MAF ebay special?
1. fuel filter
2. O2 sensors
3. CATS
How do I check these?

Well after looking around. I found that the vacuum hose from the brake booster to the back of the intake manifold was leaking. I suspect a vacuum leak could contribute to my bogging issues.
Anybody want to give me there input?

A leak will cause the vehicle to hesitate. Reason being; it is taking in un-metered air into the intake. In more simple terms, the air is getting into the intake manifold without first going through the mass air meter. (More air is getting in the motor than the computer thinks)![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also, the map sensor is confused.

I had the leak fixed. It seems alot better; however it does not completely take away the hesitation especially when I kick it down. Some thing tells me it is still my ebay MAF. Also I don't have any CEL on.
