Seatbelt warning light and buzzer

The seatbelt warning light and buzzer keep coming on even when the passenger is belted. Dealer can't sort it over Christmas. Can I diable or even unplug on a temporary basis?

Do not believe that its possible to disable without getting the warning. I am not certain but it certainly could be the sensor that is activated when its buckled up that is bad. Should be fairly easy to troubleshoot and repair.

i wouldn't suggest messing with bypassing these safety features. if God forbid you get hit by someone while you've done that, you wouldn't want to alter anything otherwise the investigators can blame injuries toward you hacking the system.
