help for a 2001 ml430 tune up please
ok guys,
i don't really have any idea what to do and i need your help. I have a 2001 ml430 and it has 95000 miles on it right now. When i first bought it, it has 67000 and i don't know if they did a tune up before or no. i did the oil change on time all the time and i did a transmission service at the 90000. so far i don't have any problems and thanks God. so do you think it's time for a tune up? if not when i should get the tune up done? please guys don't tell me take down to a steelership for a check up

At 60k a tune up should have been done. I know the dealer is expensive but I have always had mine serviced by the dealer and have had no problems with them. If something does go wrong as a result of their mistake then they will make it good. Having owned five Benzes over the last 20 + years my experience with dealer service has been outstanding. A tad expensive but in my opinion, worth it. If you are mechanically inclined then you can save yourself a bunch of money. I just don't have the time or inclination to do it myself anymore.

no you can do it
all you will need to changed the plugs. ok you have 2 plugs per cylinder. I would think that the bocsh plat +2 and you need to get 16 of them. you dont need to get wires. I did changed my air filter with a K&N and on the air box I did remove a breather plate and I got a lottal more air in to it . and that should be it. the transfer case needs to be flushed by the steeler. but thats it.
