1998 ML-320 Transfer Case
During sudden acceleration from stop, there is a very loud grinding sound
which seems to come from the left rear passenger. The "corner" mechanic said that the most likely cost is the transfer case -- and he quoted $3K to have it done/rebuilt? Anyone had this before?
