ML 270CDI
116000miles on 270CDI.
Problems?
Alternator replaced, Intake manifold replaced, Injectors replaced and serviced window switch gear. Auto Trans slips 4th when very hot.
This ML has had a much tougher life than most as I use it as a 4WD in rough Australian conditions. Been a good thing and will update to ML350CDI when this one gets tired.

2002 ML320 67k no issue. I have to check MAF soon, i noticed that engine isn't consistently smooth at idle and thinking MAF needs some cleaning. What should the RPM be at idle anyhow, anyone know?

The lowest mileage ML55 in the land, 35 K miles for a 2001!!! Problems, center window switch (which is very typical on the MLs, they must've gotten a bad batch).

How many miles do you have on your ML

2004 ML 500 over 200,000 and I commute from San Clemente to San Diego every day. I really have not had any problems, it still looks good and my company covers my gas so I will keep going until it's time to give the car away.

2003 ML 320 Sport
2003 ML 320 Sport and I've got 130K miles. No major problems to speak of. Tires, brakes, oil, etc. Will need engine mounts soon (car clicks when I take off and stop) and probably some new shocks/suspension (very bouncy ride if you're in the back). Taking her in for some service this week. Fingers crossed.

HA! This feels like an AA session.

Is this a Freudian slip? $162,000 spent or 162,000 miles driven?

I've got 181,000+. Bought it with 59,000 with the old 100k Starmark warranty. Drove it to the dealer even if the wipers didn't clear the rain from the windshield = Fixed N/C and oh, by the way, we replaced your 02 sensors while it was in for you. (Sweet!)

After that ran out, I've spent a mint fixing the rest of the typical things one would expect to have general wear and tear. My wife is ready to sell it, but I'm having a hard time seeing the eventuality of parting with it.

If a ML is running fine beyond 150K miles, it would not make economic sense to me to part with it...its worth is no more than $5-$6K after the 10 year/150K milestone...might as well use it, most MLs that cross the 10 year/150K mile milestones have been maintained well...and are likely to give another 5 years of life...

My Oxygen sensors are still factory at 168K miiles..

--

To all 2000 ML owners, in 2015, the SRS airbags are due for replacement......has anyone looked into cost of replacing them..

The first batch of 1998 MLs might be due for SRS Airbag replacement in fall 2012...

2003 ML 350
2003 Ml 350...just bought it with 114,000 miles. Yep, that was a crapshoot, I banked on the Mercedes/German car reputation, also the fact that I had 240,000 on an Audi 5000 and sold it running well.

Dealer replaced the windshield, driveshaft hanger bearing, and repaired the defrost (flap wasn't opening all the way), changed oil, etc. I'm thinking that I should replace plugs SOON as they were due at 100,000?

Reprogrammed keyless entry myself, and will be replacing the original AM/FM/Cassette/no-nav COMMAND unit with a DVD nav unit from a 2005 ML500 as soon as it gets here.

I LOVE THIS VEHICLE SO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is everything I expected from a Mercedes-Benz.

Hi guys, first post here. I have my current motor in at 377000kms. I tow my quads with it and drive it hard, yet maintain it and always spoil it with chevron 94 octane and premium syn oil in all holes

80K on my '00 ML430, besides the rough ride and stiff throttle pedal, love the power, hate that I can only get approx. 280 mls per tank.

I have a 2003 ML350 with 62000 miles. Bought it new - off the lot with 13 miles on it. I love it & have had no problems with mine. I have maintained mine from day one & have the service records to prove it. This is my 3rd MB- 1st was a c- class & 2nd was a e-class. By far this is my favorite!! When i take it in for service, i dread getting a loaner & it makes me appreciate my ML!!!!
