2002 BMW 330CIC, Soon the 2003 ML500

Hey everyone...I'd love to hear some positive feedback from 2003 ML500 owners...I'm picking up my new ML500 this week and I'm "somewhat" concerned about much of the negative feedback of the prior year 2002 ML320, etc.
I'm going with a fully loaded version and hope that the $56K is worth it...look forward to hearing from ANYONE good or bad...
Also, any feedback about Mercedes Benz leasing would be great...thanks!

congrats on your purchase.
i have a 02 ML500 and love it.
i had a 00 ML430 and the the 02 is a much better vehicle. mercedes seems to refine this particular vehicle every year.
never had any quaility issues with either ML.
as far as leasing.....not a bad idea right now. i leased mine for 39 months. i figure when my lease is up the newly designed ML will be out and i won't take the depreciation hit that seems to hit the outgoing model.
one thing though....keep in mind interest rates are pretty low right now and regular financing is pretty attractive.
good luck!

Mee too!
I love my 2002 ML500. Only a few minor things have been required. The only part replacement I have needed is for squeeky brakes in the very cold.

I took delivery of my 2003 ML500 in mid August. Currently, it has 2,500 miles on the odometer and no problems EXCEPT having to have the tires rebalanced at the dealership to correct a slight vibration when traveling between 58 – 70 MPH. At any speed faster or slower, the ride was smooth as silk. Like you, I had initial concerns based on reliability issues in the past. I’m very pleased with the truck…so far. We’ll see what the future holds.
