Does anyone had prior experience in changing the shift knobs on MLs? Just bought a burl walnut shift knob and would like to replace my old one. Thanks in advance.

Yeah man, I bought the burl one too. All you do is twist that little black plastic piece on the bottom of the knob, counter-clockwise I believe, push the plastic down hard until it snaps off and then pull the shift knob off the shifter.

No problem at all!
