Anyone else have this problem???

I haven't had that problem, nor have I seen that on an ML before - weird.
I think you should have your dealer check it out - as far as I know that's definitely not a common problem for an '02 ML.

Surprised to hear that a fuel gauge on a 350
is playing up - would have thought they'd fixed the erratic fuel gauge problem by now :-(
Even more surprised to read you bought another ML after having the first re-purchased - maybe you had your reasons ?
Anyway, doubtless the dealer will fix your fuel gauge - let's hope nothing else plays up.....

The reason I got another is because MB gave it to me!!!! I didn't buy it. They did an "asset swap" within my lease. I have 18 months to turn the new car back in w/39,000 miles. I also get to buy it, if I want, at the residual value of the original car. Lease remains the same, the actual car is new. I really can't loose, except if the the friggin' car doesn't break down on me like the old one.....
