Question Good Service Depts in Southern California

Just wondering what MB dealership has the best all around service department in Southern California?

My areas of concerns are the following:

1) Technical Knowledge
2) Availability (appointments and turn around of service)
3) Friendness, going the extra mile to help you
4) Parts availability
5) overall service relationship
6) Any names of outstanding service advisors that you had experience with?
7) Any thing else you care to add

Please let us know your experiences!

Thanks,
03ML350

I have found that.......

Mercedes Benz of Long Beach offers great service without attitude. Takes a couple of days for an appointment but, they treat you right.

Thanks BillM

Would you care to share the service advisor (name) that you use?

Sure his name is...........

Don Zimmer. Easy to talk to and gets your problems fixed. I recently went in for a "B" service and rear brakes. I took in in at 8am and got it back at 11:30am.

Bill, did you buy your cars there? I have been in for service twice, received lousy service, no loaner car, and they seemed to have an attitude. They made my then 7 month pregnant wife wait 45 minutes for a ride home, and we live 4 blocks away.

This was before the move, so maybe things are better now. I drive 30 miles to Caliber in Anaheim Hills and have been very happy. (I also bought my 2 cars there).

Sorry to hear that.....

No, I did not buy my ML there. Things are much better since they moved into their new large quarters. I can only speak about my service experience. You are right about loaners. I have only gotten one once and it was a Geo Metro ugh. But, they drive back to work and come pick me up when my ML is ready so it really does not bother me.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I'll try Don next time I am there. The first advisor I had there left to go to FJ in Newport and the guy that replaced him is useless.
