Broken rear swaybar link
On my 1999 ML320, I noticed yesterday I have a broken rear drivers side, top swaybar link. The bottom is still bolted firmly with the rubbers in place, but the top is gone. My question is, can the car be driven safely, say 100 miles or so to have it fixed? I am not sure when it broke, since it's my wifes car, maybe 3 miles ago or 1000 miles ago? It looks like nothing should happen, other then a little more body roll, but as far as hurting anything? Any input appreciated.

Out Of Control!!
it can be driven... I drove a 1986 BMW 325 2.5 hours from Waterbury CT back to my home in boston with no front sway bars...
I bet you'll be ok driving to the shop... drive accordingly though... IE drive like you have broken suspension bits
