ml 320 wont start after crash

After front crash our ml wont start at all. The accident was so bad that both airbags blowed.
Everything else is all right but the startengine wont run.
Is it posible that the computer had to reset after that kind of accident???
Or where else the proplem can be??? How must the computer reset???
Thanks for answers...

If I'm not mistaken, most vehicles will not allow you to drive after the airbags have deployed. You may not be able to drive/start the vehicle until the entire system is replaced/repaired. I'm no expert, but it makes complete sense.

Yes. Its ECU must be reset after such a big impact. When the airbags being activated, the computer also unlocks the doors, cuts off the fuel line and power lines. All is to avoid a fire.
Check with your master tech.

Where is sensor of enginehood. And must the enginehood be closed while reseting the ecu?

You need to replace the positive cable located near the battary terminal. The cable called Battery Safety Terminal (BST). what's a BST? If BST is blown, you will not get any power from the battery to the engine, period. The BST is essentially an explosive bolt that is triggered during an airbag event in the event of a collision and completely breaks the connection to the Positive battery terminal.

Hope that help
