ML320, Looking for my S4
Hello all. Just a few questions.

I've searched but I haven't been able to get a 100% answer on quite a few things.

To start I have a 2000 ML320 that was bought with 3 miles on the clock. It currently has 72000 and since my 600+hp audi is down. Its time to give this pig some over due love. Currently It has ATE brake rotors F+R and hawk hps pads. I swear it stops better then my friends ML55. ANYWAY I'm looking for some good tires and I'd like some recommendations because I've never researched anything about SUV tires etc etc.

I also plan on doing plugs, fuel pump and fuel filter, I've already made a functional ram air intake, and I plan on removing 2 cats to free up a little back pressure while keeping a low key. I will be documenting everything and writing up everything for ease of use.

PS:: Since The car was under warranty till august 08. I have a 3in folder of every repair. Gota love ML's!

Michelin Cross Terrains are the best handling and driving tire you can put on these things. I have them on the 99 ML430. Don't expect more than 35,000 out of them, though. My 2002 ML320 has Pirelli Scorpions. Now, they are good tires but the ride comfort is a little rough and the tires are noisy when they get a few miles on them.

Kumho or Hankook, they both perform great, I had Hankook Ventus ST's on the ML not so good in snow, great in rain, and quiet. I have Kumho Ecsta STX on the ML now, a great all season performance tire, even in snow a little noisy on the highway. I have Hankook Ventus HRII's on the S4, no complaints at all.

I had Hankook HRII on my Eclass and loved em. Btw on your next set switch to GoodYear Eagle GT's. Awesome in the rain! btw
