hey does anyone know for sure if the new ml-55 door handles will fit onto a 02 ml 320? thanks for any help.

Assuming you're referring to the chrome door handles, yes the ML500/55 handles should fit any ML. IIRC it was Taiichiro who had posted installation instructions, but you could also have the dealer install them if you wish. Be careful about the part number though and before ordering because many of the handles have no hole for the key - so you would have to use only the remote to unlock the car. Even if that doesn't matter, just double check that the part numbers you get match the numbers posted up previously. You can just do a forum search - I had posted a thread on it a while ago IIRC.

But to answer your original question, yes they should fit.
