I recently purchased a 1998ML320 overseas. Problem is pevious owner had only one key and lost others(how many are they).

1. Where can i order key. What do i need to show as proof of ownership so they'll let me get keys.

How much is it any idea?

2. Owner also failed to give key of lockbox under seat. Can i order key for this? How much? where and how?

The key will cost you about $100 -125 through your dealer. I dont know about the glove.

5 keys. 2 are the switchblade fobs, 1 valet key and 2 for the lock box. You will have to replace these through a delaer because of the key coding. BTW, as mentioned above they aren't cheap.

with regard to the lockbox under the passenger side front seat, i also did not receive the keys for that.

how would the dealer know what key code is the correct one for my box? also, about how much is the lockbox key?

stamped on the lock. Should be like G404. That would also indicate the key type. Cost? who knows. I would think only a couple of dollars since it is pretty generic lock.

Answering my own problem

Had someone duplicate the key (serves as key w/o alarm) for emergency

Hadf locksmith duplicate key of lockbox w/o key. After i showed him title to car

Cost US$20.00 for 1 door key and 2 lockbox keys
