Any Lamella sun roof boffins out there?
A bit of a long shot and I'm not expecting many (if any) replies but, here goes anyway. Roof is closed -some may say leave it that way- but when I select open nothing happens. Unshipped both motors and they motor over when closed selected but nothing when selected to open. switch has been removed and checked and appears okay. is there a relay for open only?

incidentally its a ML270.

You could have a defective relay that works one way only...

I would still try swaping the relay if that helps...I have a Lamella roof with 130K miles on my ML - no incident with it in 9 years - knock on wood!

You could have a relay that is only partially functional - partially disfunctional

Check the fusebox - all relays and fuses are situated right there...

As per this link, that I found on the web, the EAM (Extended Activity Module) controls the lamella roof operation. You may have a bad EAM..
