Coolant Circuit Failure

The short story is the idler pulley at the top of the motor split in half. Could not get the fan off so ended up replacing water pump and fan clutch. While I was in there I changed the differential fluid (front and rear) and transfer case fluid. Got everything bolted back together. Now I have a check engine light (P0115, Coolant Circuit) and the temp gauge will not register anything. I then replaced the coolant temp sensor on the top of the motor next to the t-stat housing. I still have a P0115 and no temp gauge reading.
Truck is a 1999 ML430. Anyone have any clue what to do next? I checked the fuse for the aux coolant pump and it was fine. From all other signs, truck is running fine. But, the CE light and the P0115 tell me that there has to be some connector or reset function that I failed to address.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
JB

Turned out to be a broken wire. The wire going to the connector had broken under the sheath... as soon as I soldered the wire back together everything worked fine.
