Removal of ml320 dash
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the support. My problem was that I had no idea where I was looking for screws. I read about other mercedes cars and did different thing, but finally figured it out. For people out there that are going to fix their blend door motor in their ml320, there are screws on top vent and piler needs to come off.

Can you post pics on location of screws for the dash. I want to remove it but I can't find screws. Any help will definitely be appreciated.
We took the car to get a freon recharge and the A/C blows cold for 3 days before it goes back to hot air. The shop did a leakage test under the hood and said they found no issues using a dye so the problem must be inside the dash somewhere!
Do I need to remove my center console before taking the dash off? My mechanic said I can save some labor if I remove the dash myself but I have no clue where to start.
Is the main area I want to get to behind the radio or more on the passenger side behind the airbag?
thanks!
Please provide instruction on replacement of blend motor without removing passenger air bag door. The door is held down to the dash with an 90-degree metal bracket (angle iron). Pulling the door open will break the clips and will change the angle of the bracket and will be hard to put the door back on without leaving a large gap. Even the dealer couldn't find the clips for the air bag door let alone putting the door back on. I know the location of the blend motor, but just couldn't get to it without popping the door open. Please help.
Do do so, remove the Instrument Panel covers under the driver's side and passenger side. Look in the opening between the end of the console and the Heater Box and you will see a small black box the size of a pack of cigarettes.
Remove the one screw holding it and extend it out to either side and with the engine running, conduct the one test with a DVOM on wires 8 & 9. Pos. probe of DVOM on 8 and neg. probe on 9. Start with the dial turned to heat range and slowly turn to the cold range.
If the voltage changes correctly, then you must purchase a new Blend Door Motor. If there is no voltage change you must purchase a new N19.
Post back with results.
