2003 ML350 Low Gear
Hello. While my w210 is in the shop, my loaner vehicle is a 2003 ML350 Inspiration Edition. Unfortunately, there is no owner's manual in the vehicle.
How do you put the truck in low gear? My guess is neutral at 0-5 mph and then press the button? What about coming out of it? Since here in central NJ I already have 1 inch of snow down with lots more due to fall, I thought I would ask...
Really nice truck, for those of you who own 'em!
Thanks!

low range
Unless you have to push through a couple of feet of snow bank you are not likely to need the low range, however, if you want to try it come to a complete stop and click the button on the dash. to get out of it, stop, switch to neutral, press button again. I think it kicks out of low range at a preset speed also...

Well, I have 23" of snow in my driveway, and I just moved the truck with ease! I just pressed the low gear while in neutral at a standstill and then shifted to drive. I am very impressed.

You do the same to reverse back to normal range
you do the same thing to go back to normal gear range......my ML350 have an instruction at the inside lid or cover of the center storage box
