04 ML350 - Thoughts on this car

Do you guys and girls mind giving me an honest opinion on this car? I have heard the horror stories about W163 and really don't want to have issues. Is it worth it to go for a ml350? We will be going from a R350 to this. It is not listed, but it does have navigation as well. Thanks

way over priced :-(
The market for SUV's and ML in particular is way down below what KBB lists for trade - to the point some are being traded as cash for clunkers, clearly not for this one though !
Plus you have to contend with all the known gremlins - I'd ask to see its service history to determine what's already been done and how much trouble its been.
I'm biased - but personally I'd never go near an ML W163 and I hear the W164 aren't that much better.
Check out the other benz forum as it's a bit more active than this one.
