Audio wiring
Like others i want to add a sub with an amp to the ML. My idea is to but a self contained box with the crossovers and and amp built on the amp with quick release connectors from Gewiss or National so that if i need the cargo space i can eqasily remove the box. Questions:
1. Where do i get 12V power for the amp? Preferably aroung 15 to 20A worth. I'm sure there's a better way than hardwiring the amp all the way from the battery to the rear? And i heard that you cant do this because the firewall is kinda sealed tight.
2. Where do i get the signal power so that the amp for my sub turns on only if the bose head unit is on?
3. Is it okay to get audio-speaker level signal from the speakers and just use a speaker to line level converter? Or is there another audio speaker/line level wire in the harness in the back somehwere
